What is TMS?

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an FDA-cleared treatment that uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain associated with mood regulation.

  • Non-Invasive: No surgery or anesthesia required.
  • No Systematic Side Effects: Unlike many medications, TMS does not cause weight gain, upset stomach, or “brain fog.”
  • Student-Friendly: Sessions are typically short, allowing you to head straight back to class or your dorm immediately after treatment.

Are You a Candidate?

TMS is often recommended for individuals who have tried at least two antidepressant medications without seeing significant improvement. It is particularly effective for:

  • Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
  • Anxious Depression
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
